Becoming an Independent Thinker

Rely on yourself for your happiness and success.

In today's world of endless possibilities, it's easy to outsource almost any task. However, your ideas and thought processes should never be delegated. Embrace the power of independent thinking, and you will always be able to find your way, even in this distracted age.

1. What's something I set out to do and actually accomplished?

This question helps you to appreciate your own success. We're often focused on the next thing, which makes us forget our past accomplishments.

2. What's something I set out to do but never accomplished?

Think about why something didn't work out the way you planned. Find out what went wrong and how you can avoid that from happening again.

3. What am I currently doing in my life because of external pressure?

Are you on social media because you ‘think’ you need it for your work? Do you live in an expensive city because you ‘think’ you need more career opportunities? We all do something that we don't actually want to do. Maybe because of social pressure. Maybe because of other external reasons. Think about why you're following those instincts and what you REALLY want to do.
